The Canadian Initiative for Nordic Studies is delighted to announce that it has increased its scholarships on all levels. Understanding that costs of travel, food and tuition have risen globally, the board decided, at the Annual General Meeting on May 27, 2023, to increase all awarded scholarships by $1000. It is the hope of the board that by increasing these awards students will be able to better cover the costs of their academic work in Nordic countries. The amounts of the scholarships as they currently stand are:
- Undergraduate: $2,500
- Master’s: $3,000
- PhD: $5,500
For information on applying for scholarships see the Scholarships page on the CINS website.
